Australian singer-songwriter Darren Stanley Hayes debuted in 1996 as the frontman and singer of the pop duo Savage Garden. Hayes married makeup artist Colby Taylor in 1994. The two had met while in college in Australia. They separated in 1998 and were divorced in 2000. Hayes entered into a civil partnership with his boyfriend of three years, Richard Cullen, on June 19, 2006 in London.[4] In keeping with his usual practice of not talking about his sexual orientation, he did not announce the civil partnership until July 17, 2006, when the information appeared on his official website. I don't think that a person's sexual orientation is a business of others as long as they are not doing anything that hurts their fellow humans and are not criminals . We are born to be what we are and certainly can't choose before being born with what we want to be . Darren Hayes is a gifted artist and makes others happy with his music , and for that , we have to be glad that he was born in this world like everyone else . Darren has a beautiful voice and has created fantastic songs both with savage garden and his solo albums it's nobody's business what his sexual preferences are does not take away his warm kind personality and his God given talent for writing songs and his incredible voice although I'm a tad bit jealous cause I fell hopelessly in love with him when savage garden hit the scene I still love him but found my husband and my best friend through his music both of us are huge fans keep making the music Darren my love still listen in 2020 wish you would do a UK tour with old and new material I would buy every ticket ☺️
